- ~8-hour day from Playa del Carmen including drive to the Cancun/Chiquila departure point
- In-water time with the sharks ~2 hours, swimming in pairs with a guide per boat rules
- Light breakfast, ceviche lunch, snorkel gear, water and soft drinks included
- Marine park fee ~$300 MXN paid separately on some operators
- Small boats (10-14 guests); no touching, no flash, biodegradable sunscreen only
- Sightings are wild-animal dependent; operators offer re-ride discounts if none seen
